Janelle began working for AAA after she and her husband moved to Astoria, following his time in the Coast Guard. Janelle worked elsewhere when she noticed an opening for one of our Insurance Service Representative positions. After a year in that role, Janelle applied for the agent position and AAA sent her to school for her license.
Janelle truly enjoys the personal one on one service that AAA provides. One of her favorite things is, “The personal relationships that develop with the clients over time; they become more than just a policy, they become people you care about.”
“Too often people in the customer service field are quick to answer the question or pass along to someone else to handle,” Janelle said, “Giving that little extra bit of help brings a sense of relief to the members and puts a smile on their face.”
When Janelle isn’t assisting our members, she and her husband are out in the community. She currently serves as Chairman of the Warrenton Warming Center and is dedicated to helping those who have been displaced by the economy. In her spare time, Janelle has taken to knitting hats and scarfs, as well as serving lunch in the park to those in need.
