AAA Oregon/Idaho is closely monitoring the rapidly evolving coronavirus situation. See our COVID-19 updates to roadside assistance, travel, and our service center locations.
This is a rapidly changing situation, with developments changing hour by hour. We remain in close contact with our travel partners and our travel counselors remain available to assist members with any questions or necessary travel changes.
Roadside Assistance Updates
AAA takes the health and safety of our Members and Associates seriously, and we are taking preventative measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
For your protection, and the protection of our service providers, our service providers may ask you to remain in your vehicle during your service call. Should a tow be required we are not allowing members to ride in the truck to the tow destination to ensure compliance with social distancing recommendations by our health and government officials.
While you wait for the service provider to arrive, please seek alternate transportation through a friend, family member or rideshare service. We are here for you and will do our best to assist you in securing a ride should it be required. Your safety and the safety of our drivers is our top priority and our driver will wait at your breakdown location until you have secured a ride.
Thank you for your understanding.
Service Center Information
When visiting our Service Centers, we are asking members to maintain physical distancing and wear a face covering. Following state and CDC recommendations, our team members will be wearing face coverings. Many of our Insurance and Travel Professionals continue to work from home, so please call in advance before stopping in.
Our temporary office hours in all locations are Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
As the coronavirus COVID-19 continues to unfold, its impact on the insurance industry is coming into focus. Social distancing, travel restrictions, cancelled events, and more people working from home mean fewer drivers are out on the road. This has led to fewer automobile accidents, which has meant fewer insurance claims.
Now, many insurance companies are providing premium credits or refunds back to their customers.
