In 1939, the real “Jerry” and “Walt” started an auto repair and maintenance shop that everyone trusts to this day. The present owners, Derek & Michelle David, are just one of the few lucky people to carry on the vision and service after Jerry and Walt retired. When they bought the business in 2013, they expanded the shop from a specialized, well-known wheel alignment shop to Complete Auto Care facility. But, also continuing to be the #1 alignment shop in Lane County. Derek and Michelle strive to make Jerry & Walt’s a fun and happy place to work and visit. They want every customer to feel like they are a part of the Jerry & Walt’s family.

Knowing we are keeping our customers and their families safe in their vehicles. Plus, we have so many more friends now!
What does your shop specialize in? Is there a reason you were drawn to that specialty?
Complete Auto Care. It’s always been known as the Best Alignment Shop in Eugene. In 2013, we expanded the shop into a Complete Auto Care center.
What’s your dream car?
Michelle says it the 1967 Mustang Convertible. That’s her pride and joy.
What makes your shop stand out against the rest?
We treat everyone like family.
What is a memory that stands out from your experience working here?
The laughter I hear throughout the day. It makes me smile to think we, Derek & I, are providing a safe, enjoyable work environment. Plus, it let’s me know we are providing more than just fixing cars. We provide exceptional customer service and comfort to our customers!
What is your favorite aspect, overall, about working in the automotive industry?
Plain and simple, helping and educating people to keep their vehicle running as long as possible.
