Teresa began her insurance career in 1985 and gained a solid knowledge of how insurance coverage works. In 1998, Teresa made the choice to stay at home with her children (she now has two, beautiful adult daughters).
In 2002 she was forced by the economy to go back to work and answered an ad by AAA for an Insurance Service Representative in the Boise office. She was hired on the spot and found the sales side of insurance much more rewarding than the claims side.
“I love that we have multiple companies that we are able to write with,” Teresa said. “Insurance is definitely not a one-size-fits-all industry, so having options allows me to place customers with the best fit for them, taking into account their specific needs. ”
She enjoys helping members learn about coverage, why it’s important, and what best fits their lifestyle.
“I love seeing the light come on when people start to understand the importance of good coverage and why what they currently have may not be enough. It makes me feel like I’ve done my job,” Teresa said.
In her spare time, Teresa enjoys golfing, camping and being outdoors. She is also a pianist and organist.
