As Idahoans prepare for the eventual end of winter, Spring Break is a popular time for a change of scenery.  AAA has new details on Gem State travelers’ favorite getaways.

Based on AAA booking data, Idahoans’ top ten Spring Break destinations are:

  1. Las Vegas, NV
  2. Seattle, WA
  3. Anaheim/Los Angeles
  4. Oregon Coast
  5. Galveston, TX
  6. San Diego, CA
  7. Ft. Lauderdale, FL
  8. Hawaii
  9. Salt Lake City, UT
  10. Reno, NV

“Many Idahoans will have ‘Viva, Las Vegas’ on the brain – with so many entertainment options, it will lead the way for Spring Break.  But you can also count on big crowds at the major theme parks,” says AAA Idaho public affairs director Matthew Conde.  “2025 could be in serious contention for record-breaking travel volumes as we start approaching major holidays.”

Spring Break varies by location.  In some cases, it may be possible to visit your preferred destination while local students are still in school, experiencing smaller crowds in the process.
