PORTLAND, Ore., – Temperatures are warm but gas prices are relatively cool. Most states, including Oregon, are seeing fairly stable prices at the pumps. Crude oil prices remaining below $70 per barrel have helped prevent major swings in gas prices this summer. For the week, the national average for regular slips one cent to $3.14…
“Is that a Land Rover?” I was asked that a few times during my week with the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid. This three-row crossover was redesigned for 2024 with a boxy, rugged look that does indeed resemble a Land Rover. While the Santa Fe Hybrid doesn’t have the performance or off-road capability of a…

The 2025 Chevrolet Trax is an affordable subcompact SUV with a surprisingly roomy cabin, decent road manners, and a respectable amount of features and tech. While it’s the smallest and cheapest vehicle Chevy makes, it offers good value for the money. However, the Trax is not available with all-wheel drive which can be a deal-breaker…
AAA projects record travel for the holiday PORTLAND, Ore., – Gas prices are easing ahead of the 4th of July holiday. Oregon and most other states are seeing pump prices decline, driven by falling crude oil prices. Crude prices spiked in mid-June in response to the strikes between Israel and Iran, and the U.S. attack…
